I design and fabricate performance creatures, from puppets to masks to props.My specialty: Paper Mache, though I work in several mediums. I focus on results that feature textures inspired by nature, the hand made processes, & that patina of age, performance & repairs. I value a simpler mechanism that offers graceful movement and durability. I prefer a well-sculpted expressive face over one with complex facial articulations. My passions: storytelling via the visual arts, & teaching so that the experience and knowledge can be shared and grown. I currently perform as an online 2D cartoon puppeteer for the edutainment of francophone classes and homes in Canada.
